Able to precipitate humidity through a membrane, the membrane dryer system presents an efficient solution for dental air drying. The compressed air is cooled to ambient temperature by the aluminum ribs of a cooling element. Air then flows through 1,200 thin membrane fibers that dehumidify it. On the other side of the membrane fibers, dry scavenging air absorbs the humidity againsaid to precipitate three times more water than conventional systems.
