Contrastpm

Contrastpm® is a tooth whitening gel featuring a cream texture with a mild spearmint flavor. This viscous gel is said to offer extended contact and prolonged carbamide peroxide release, and with a thinner application to help make reservoirs obsolete. The custom-fit whitening trays compress the gel against the facial surface of the teeth, coating the surface. This facilitates time savings in the fabrication of the trays as well as a reduction in the amount of whitening gel used per application. Contrastpm is available in 10%, 15%, and 20% carbamide peroxide. The 10% and 15% gels are designed for overnight wear, while the 20% gel is for daytime wear for 1 to 2 hours. Shelf life is 2 years.
