Now available in a faster set time for enhanced patient comfort and shorter chair times, AlgiNot FS alginate replacement VPS material is well suited for many indications, including preliminary impressions, provisional impressions, orthodontic models, bite registration, and bleaching trays. The material features an improved thixotropic consistency, which reduces slumping and displacement from the impression tray.

In addition, it breaks the surface tension of intraoral fluids and displaces them to register exceptional detail. Its optimal elasticity enables the material to rebound from deformation to produce an impression that is said to be a true negative replicaton of the dentition.
