In a single system, the ProMax 3D CBVT (Cone Beam Volumetric Tomography) system provides 3-D imaging, digital panoramic imaging, and digital cephalometrics (optional). The 3-D imaging units small footprint makes the technology available for use on-site in virtually any doctors office. The units exposure time is only 6 seconds with a rapid scan rate of 16-18 seconds per image. The system also offers the ability to choose a region of interest (ROI) for a procedure through segment selection (that is, upper jaw, lower jaw, upper right quadrant, etc.). This feature reduces both scan time and radiation dose. The units flat panel semiconductor-based sensor provides high-sensitivity and exceptional image resolution.

This technology can be used for implantology, maxillofacial surgery, orthodontic planning, and TMJ analysis, along with many other general diagnostic procedures.
