CariFree Xyli-Tots Lollies were developed by UCLA researchers who have determined that an extract of licorice root targets and reduces the primary bacteria (Streptococcus mutans) responsible for dental caries (see Oral Biotechs Web site for the research). As the lollipop dissolves in saliva, the herb is said to fight cavity-causing bacteria in the mouth.

The lollipops contain safe, natural herbal ingredients and are sugar-free. They are available in Citrus Smiles flavor and one bag contains 24 Xyli-Tots Lollies.
