Whip Mix announces changes to gypsum packaging

Article

The company will be changing its gypsum packaging by the end of September.

Whip Mix will be making a change to its gypsum packaging by the end of September, the company said in a statement. The changes come after surcharges were placed on packages of 50lb+.

The surcharges were placed by UPS and FedEx at the beginning of the year. Going forward, Whip Mix will be changing all 25, 50, and 55lb cartons of gypsum packaging to 33lb cartons.

The company said it is currently working on phasing in this change-over and expects to start shipping the new size cartons starting in late September.
